Замовник може передбачати аванс на придбання матеріалів, конструкцій, виробів, який не повинен перевищувати 30% від вартості річного обсягу робіт (п.19 Постанови №1764 від 27.12.2001р. зі змінами). Виконавець зобов’язується використовувати отриманий аванс на придбання та постачання необхідних для виконання робіт матеріалів, конструкцій, виробів протягом трьох місяців (90 днів) після отримання авансу. Після закінчення тримісячного терміну недовикористані суми авансу повертаються Замовнику, якщо інше не передбачено Законом або іншими нормативними документами Джерело фінансування: кошти державного бюджету та кошти місцевого бюджету
